Mr. Salem Khalifa Khazam (Founder)
Born on 29 September 1940 in Libyan family, Mr. Salem Khalifa Khazam, graduated from International College, Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA with an associate degree in accounting.
1958 - Started his career at the Accounting Section of the Press Publication Department in the Ministry of Interior.
1960 - Joined Gordon Woodrouf Company.
1962 - Joined Oasis Oil Company and subsequently progressed through various leading positions in the Finance Department. He worked as Unit Supervisor, Sections Supervisor (Properties), Section Supervisor (General Accounting), Coordinator (Properties Accounting), Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Controller.
1981 - Promoted to the position of "Treasurer & Controller", presently known as "Finance Manager". He served as a permanent member of Operations Committee, Contract Tender Committee and Job Evaluations Committee. On 1st July 1986, "Oasis Oil Company" was renamed as "Waha Oil Company".
May, 2000 – Retired from "Waha Oil Company" as “Finance Manager”.
During his career, he emphasized on improving his theoretical and practical skills by learning and applying different methodologies at his workplaces. He completed numerous intensive courses in Geology, Geophysical, Oil Operations, Oil Accounting, Auditing, Specialized Course for Oil & Gas Sector, Effective Supervision, Effective Management and Computer Applications.
Being Founder of “Almubadala Oil Services”, Mr. Salem Khalifa Khazam is contributing and imparting his outstanding experiences to the growth and success of Almubadala.
Mr. Safwan Salem Khazam (General Manager)
A Graduate from Tripoli University, Libya with a bachelor degree in Business Administration. In July 2010, Mr. Safwan Salem Khazam took charge of Al Mubadala Oil Services with a vision to shape it through his experiences gained over the years and expand its business activities with the help of valuable advices of his father Mr. Salem Khalifa Khazam.
Before establishing Al Mubadala Oil Services, he worked with different companies that helped him to gain practical knowledge of the industry and market trends. While working with Joannou & Paraskevaides (Overseas) Limited – a multinational company from Cyprus, he gained working knowledge of HR practices, recruitment and training process with regard to the Libyan nationals. Later, he joined "Same Whan Corporation" - a leading Korean construction company and helped the company in all matters relating to public relations. He served R.W.E. – a German Company, and remained instrumental in providing the company essential services - housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, security and procuring essential items required for office and company sites.
Mr. Mohammed Salem Khazam (Deputy Manager)
A Graduate from Tripoli University, Libya with a degree in Business Administration. He has 3 years of working experience in Accounts Department of a leading North African Company.
Mr. Chand Ahmad (Operations Manager)
A Graduate from Magadh University, Patna, Bihar, India with a degree(honours) in Pol. Science. He got his MBA degree from Jamia Millia Islamia University (Centre for Management Studies), New Delhi – India.
1994 - He started his career with Asian Paints (I) Ltd., a leading paints & allied products company in India.
2003 - He joined Joannou & Paraskevaides (Overseas) Ltd., a multinational EPC company at Tripoli, Libya and rendered his services in the Administration Department.
2007 - He joined North General Construction Co. at Tripoli, Libya as Administration Manager.
2011 - He joined Itihadi Saudi Infrastructure Company Limited at Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Administrator & HR Manager.
2012 - He joined Zara Group at Tripoli, Libya as Operations Manager.
Mr. Atef Said El Galli (Public Relations Manager)
A Graduate from Tripoli University with a Bachelor Degree in Economics. He has 4 years of working experience with an UAE Company specialized in providing electronics accessories.
